Hi there – love the website. I feel quite connected to it as well, as it was very easy to find on it the first piece of art that I have ever bought. Thats ‘lovelife’ from the New Mexico exhibition. Its beautiful Suzanne. I’m enjoying the email updates of your journey, and wishing you all the best in getting the hang of blogging.

Enjoy the solstice, and be energised by the shifting energies.

Love the site – it was a challenge figuring out how to post but if this takes then it was worth it. Great seeing you on Sunday.

  3. Hi Suzanne

Do you do your own comments moderation on the site or does WordPress do it? More than 24 hours seems a long time for basic level moderation.

Hope all is well with you. We are enjoying our new fire.

Hi Suzanne, I just logged in from India.

Hope you have time to add a bit more to it – as it’s great – it’s also fun as I’m discovering.

Glad you made it to Chenai Susan. Tell all about the first impressions and your setup. I can’t wait to hear. Are you still doing the poem a day in this transition? Love from Suzanne

To answer your question at the beginning of this page:

    the word was O

  8. suzanne says:

Thankyou Susan for the prompt. O is good. The blog is about to come to life soon with my new work for the show “Moving Heaven and Earth”. I am now starting to do the digital work on the paintings. Lots of deadlines right now. Then there will be pictures and words and plenty of O’s. O also is for Orlando, the Woolf novel at the heart of the conference paper I am writing for the Kentucky Woolf conference in June. The paper is about Visual Composition in Woolf, and Orlando is driven by the impacts of climate, The Great Frost, the mini Ice Age, the rising damp of the late 19th C that Woolf comically blames for the damp souls of the Victorians, ivy creeping over their lives and ideas. Woolf said “human character changed in 1910″, and so it comes around that the same might be said for 2010, again driven by the climate of earth changes and human consciousness shift. Lets hope so.

I love the idea of Orlando as a history of climate – not just external climate but also intellectual climate. Look forward to reading your essay.
